Dr. Valentina Cechetto from TU/e marked her presence at two significant events: the 3rd Symposium on Ammonia Energy, held in China from September 22nd and 26th 2024 and the 19th edition of the Symposium of Netherlands Process Technology (NPS19) held in Groningen on 8th and 9th October 2024 “The 3rd Symposium on Ammonia Energy (SoAE) served as an international platform for presenting and discussing the latest scientific and engineering developments in the field of ammonia energy. The theme of this symposium is Ammonia: New Energy, New Opportunity. We shared the latest research results, discuss innovative technology solutions, and engage in dialogue on sustainable development strategies for ammonia energy, jointly promote the ammonia energy research, address related challenges, and achieve a cleaner and more sustainable future energy landscape.”(https://soae.sjtu.edu.cn/) Dr. Cechetto also made waves at the 19th edition of the Symposium of Netherlands Process Technology (NPS19). This prestigious gathering is a hub for academics, engineers, and industry professionals dedicated to revolutionizing process engineering. The theme of NPS 19 is “Bridging sustainable process and product technology”. The development of sustainable processes and the design and manufacture of environmentally benign (bio-based) chemical products are key to addressing societal challenges.
